How do I book an Adventure?

What are your hours of operation?

Monday-Wednesday 12-8pm

Speakeasy is open Friday from 4-9:30 or last call, and Saturday from 1-9:30 or last call.  Thursdays and Sundays may be open, call ahead.

Who can play the game? Children?
If the experience starts later than 7:30pm, every guest must be over 18. Younger guests are welcome to participate in adventures that start before 7:30.

We recommend players aged 5 and up for the Brewery and 10 and up for the Attic.

Our puzzles can be quite challenging, so children under 12 may be frustrated or find the game is too complicated for them to actively participate.

How long will the experience last?
The games run 60 minutes, while the entire experience from start to finish will take approximately 1.5 hours. Make sure to arrive 10 minutes early.
May I book a corporate team building, large group or a private event? Special Events?
Our business was designed for team building. Our team of mad scientists can arrange up to an entire day of team building for your business or crew. What happens if I arrive late? Parking?
These are live-action encounters, so our escape adventure orientation must start on time. No one is permitted to enter the games late, period. Asheville parking can be tricky, so please plan to arrive 15-20 minutes before your orientation, and if you want a drink before to get your brain calibrated, arrive 20-30 minutes prior to your start time. Allow for extra parking and traffic time on the weekends.

Your best bet is the US Cellular parking deck on Haywood St. There is also the Wall Street parking deck accessible off Otis St.

How many people can play at the same time?

Maximum number of participants: ATTIC is up to 8 people BREWERY is up to 8 people, WISEGUY is up to 10 people, Vampire Vault is 2 people, Le Vine Noir and Bier Noir are up to 10 people.

Will there be other people in the room?

Most experiences have room for 8-10 people. If your group does not reserve all of the spots, then it is possible that other people will reserve the remaining spots. Don’t worry, teamwork makes the dream work!

If you do not want to share your experience with people outside of your group, you can make your experience private (for your group only), for additional fee or $50

What is your cancellation Policy?
If you booked an adventure and need to cancel or reschedule please let us know as soon as possible. A 5-day notice of cancellation is needed for a full refund. If bookings are cancelled within 5 days of the adventure, then there will be a 50% refund available, or rescheduling with no cancellation fee. No-shows the day of the reservation will NOT be refunded in any amount.

ABOUT the ADVENTURES

Can I come without a reservation?
Reservations are highly recommended, but you are always welcome to come hang out in our fabulous lounge! We have a selection of canned and bottled beer and wine, as well as several cool games and oddities to enjoy. You may not be able to get into a room immediately if you come in person. Our booking system shows you up-to-the-minute exactly how many slots are available on each adventure.
May I leave the room in the middle of the game?
You can always leave the game room in case of an emergency. However, it is recommended to use bathrooms prior to entry into the adventures, it will be difficult to pick up where your team is if you have to leave.
What if we need help during the game?
Your group will be assigned a personal Game Guide. Each adventure is designed for your guide to be able to help you along the way in various ways.
May I use my phone or camera in the game rooms?
No, we will collect your phones and store them securely (under lock and key) while you play. No distractions and no broken phones! It’s a win-win.
Does every group finish in time?
Not always, but we try our best to make the games a mix of fun and challenging. Your guide will be available to help nudge you along.
How physical is it?
Our games flex your brains more than your biceps, but some players may need to complete physical tasks like lifting up items that are up to 20lbs, move chairs, pump a bicycle pump, etc.
What if someone shows up drunk?
Our games are intense, demanding experiences, and we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who we deem jeopardizes the safety of others by permitting them in our room. We have a great lounge and bar to hang out in after your adventure.
Do the games ever change?
You bet! The challenges, storylines, and puzzles will all change eventually so you have brand new experiences to unlock. We will be adding rooms as we first open, then modifying and changing rooms. Check our website and social media for all the updates!
TIPS/SUGGESTIONS:
The best way to solve your room is by communicating openly with everyone else in the room. Share clues and work together to make connections. If you discover new information, be sure everyone in the room knows about it.

Follow the rules. Your guide will review the rules of the game with you before you begin, which include:

  • There is no need to lift or move heavy objects.
  • Never use force to try to open locked items.
  • No cell phone use in the room. They won’t help you anyway.
  • There are no clues hidden in any electrical outlets.
  • Do no tamper with any emergency equipment such as sprinklers or emergency lighting.

Keep the games a mystery! Please do not reveal clues or answers to others.
